Treachery

Treachery is an experimental RPG about growing up in a world of murky friendships and clawing your way up from nothing in a world that couldn't care less about you. The cute graphics are completely at odds with the grimdark storytelling. Magic, Ghosts, Demons, Murder, Suicide, Robbery, Betrayals, and TREACHERY await!

Quick Help: Arrow keys to move. Space/Enter to interact. Press E to enter Stealth. The red shoe icon visible means you're trespassing. The white eye icon means at least one NPC can see you. Do crimes but don' get caught! Oh, it should work with a Controller if you have one plugged in.

This game is still in early prototyping phase. Much is unfinished and/or subject to change. Lots of maps/npcs are missing and/or placeholders. Inspired by an RPG workshop currently being hosted by FrankieSmileShow here on itch, maker of some great games!

I am a programmer not an artist, so it's using the art assets from RPG Maker with a handful of them done with Adobe Photoshop AI which is supposed to have used legally sourced images for its AI.
